Coach Zlata
Badminton and fitness coach, Kharkiv
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- Kharkiv Maple Ridge Swimming Club
- Since 1996
- English, Russian
For 30 years I've run the badminton program at Kharkiv Maple Ridge Swimming Club in Kharkiv. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Coach Zlata
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Zlata: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2009. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Laredo.
