For 22 years I ran the volleyball program at Sacramento Boxing Gym in Sacramento. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
