Coach Ziad
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Harbor Sports Club
- Since 1988
- English
I've coached badminton at Heliopolis Harbor Sports Club since 1988. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Coach Ziad: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
