I've coached wrestling at Iloilo City Good Shepherd Boxing Gym since 2009. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
