Coach Zbigniew
Cross country and fitness coach, Gdańsk
- 🇵🇱 Gdańsk, Pomerania, Poland
- Gdańsk Atlas Community Club
- 1993 to 2024
- Polish, Spanish
I coached cross country at Gdańsk Atlas Community Club from 1993 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Coach Zbigniew: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
