Coach Zainab

Coached rowing for 33 years in Onitsha

  • 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
  • Lotus Community Club
  • 1988 to 2021
  • English, Hausa, Spanish
For 33 years I ran the rowing program at Lotus Community Club in Onitsha. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.

More about Coach Zainab

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
