Coach Yusuf
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Sports Club
- 1987 to 1998
- English, Arabic
I coached cricket at Heliopolis Sports Club from 1987 to 1998. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Coach Yusuf: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
