I'm a athletics coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 570 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Yusuf
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Yusuf: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
