Coach Yumi
Coached athletics for 46 years in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Tokyo Swimming Club
- Since 1980
- Japanese
I've coached athletics at Tokyo Swimming Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Yumi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Yumi: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

You coached me in 1982. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Kyiv.
