Coach Yolanda
Coached cricket for 46 years in San Antonio
- 🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States
- San Antonio Athletic Club
- Since 1980
- English, Spanish
I've coached cricket at San Antonio Athletic Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Yolanda
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Yolanda: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
