Coach Yi
Coached football for 37 years in Christchurch
- 🇳🇿 Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand
- 1988 to 2025
- English, Mandarin
I coached football at Christchurch Athletic Club from 1988 to 2025. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Coach Yi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
