Coach Yewande
Coached rowing for twelve years in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Westbrook Boxing Gym
- 2006 to 2018
- English, Igbo
For twelve years I ran the rowing program at Kano Westbrook Boxing Gym in Kano. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.

What gifts mean to Coach Yewande: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
