Coach Yewande
Swimming coach, Lagos Community Club
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Community Club
- Since 2002
- English, Spanish
For 24 years I've run the swimming program at Lagos Community Club in Lagos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Yewande
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Yewande: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
