Coach Yasmin
Coached gymnastics for eight years in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Cairo Youth Club
- 2009 to 2017
- English
For eight years I ran the gymnastics program at Cairo Youth Club in Cairo. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Coach Yasmin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the time the class pet escaped. Best summer of my life. Greetings from San Miguel de Tucumán.
