Coach Yasir
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- Karachi Holy Cross Youth Club
- Since 1998
- English, Urdu
For 28 years I've run the hockey program at Karachi Holy Cross Youth Club in Karachi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Yasir: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the rainy sports day. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Durban.
