Coach Yashodha
Chess and fitness coach, Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Kandy Willow Creek Community Club
- Since 2018
- English, Sinhala
I've coached chess at Kandy Willow Creek Community Club since 2018. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Coach Yashodha: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
