Coach Yanti
Wrestling and fitness coach, Jakarta Barat
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Since 1986
- English
I've coached wrestling at Jakarta Barat Kilimanjaro Swimming Club since 1986. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Yanti
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Yanti: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2003. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Tokyo.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Montréal.
