Coach Yakubu
Wrestling and fitness coach, Ibadan
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- Ibadan Boxing Gym
- Since 2009
- English
I've coached wrestling at Ibadan Boxing Gym since 2009. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Yakubu
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Coach Yakubu: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
