Coach Yakubu
Coached dance for 20 years in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Silverlake Youth Club
- 2000 to 2020
- English
For 20 years I ran the dance program at Silverlake Youth Club in Ikeja. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Yakubu
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Yakubu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
