Coach Yakubu

Tennis and fitness coach, Badagry

  • 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Andes Community Club
  • Since 2003
  • English, Yoruba
I've coached tennis at Andes Community Club since 2003. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

More about Coach Yakubu

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Yakubu: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
