Coach Yağmur
Coached football for 22 years in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Community Club
- Since 2004
- English, Turkish
I've coached football at Üsküdar Community Club since 2004. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Yağmur: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
