Coach Ximena
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Youth Club
- Since 2007
- English, French
For 19 years I've run the swimming program at San Diego Youth Club in San Diego. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Coach Ximena: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
