Coach Ximena

Youth athletics coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Hope Athletic Club
  • Since 2002
  • Spanish, English
I've coached athletics at Hope Athletic Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it. I'm still learning every day.

More about Coach Ximena

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Ximena: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
