Coach Willem
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Youth Club
- 1984 to 1998
- English, Afrikaans
For 14 years I ran the tennis program at Soweto Youth Club in Soweto. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
