Coach Werner
Chess coach, Maple Ridge Community Club
- 🇩🇪 Braunschweig, Lower Saxony, Germany
- Maple Ridge Community Club
- 1983 to 2017
- German
For 34 years I ran the chess program at Maple Ridge Community Club in Braunschweig. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Coach Werner
If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
What gifts mean to Coach Werner: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
