Coach Wendy
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Bayview Youth Club
- Since 1981
- English
I've coached rowing at Bayview Youth Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Wendy
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Wendy: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
