Coach Wellington
Coached cross country for 26 years in Campinas
- 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
- Campinas Athletic Club
- Since 2000
- Portuguese, Spanish
I've coached cross country at Campinas Athletic Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Wellington
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Wellington: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Brisbane.
