Coach Waweru

Youth badminton coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
  • Arusha Youth Club
  • Since 1995
  • English, Swahili
I've coached badminton at Arusha Youth Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.

What gifts mean to Coach Waweru: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
