Coach Wanjiru
Football coach, Kasarani Boxing Gym
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya

For twelve years I ran the football program at Kasarani Boxing Gym in Kasarani. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Wanjiru: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2014. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from George.
