Coach Wangari
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Kakamega Swimming Club
- Since 1995
- English, Swahili
I've coached cycling at Kakamega Swimming Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Wangari
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Wangari: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
