Coach Wambui
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Athletic Club
- 1990 to 2002
- English
I'm a rowing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 600 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Wambui
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Wambui: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
