Coach Walter
Youth baseball coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom
- Orchid Youth Club
- 2016 to 2025
- English
For nine years I ran the baseball program at Orchid Youth Club in Swansea. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Walter
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Coach Walter: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
