Coach Walker
Coached cricket for 30 years in Southampton
- 🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom
- Southampton Gateway Boxing Gym
- Since 1996
- English
For 30 years I've run the cricket program at Southampton Gateway Boxing Gym in Southampton. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Walker
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Walker: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
