Coach Waleed
Wrestling and fitness coach, Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Austin Stonebridge Swimming Club
- 2007 to 2025
- English, Arabic
For 18 years I ran the wrestling program at Austin Stonebridge Swimming Club in Austin. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Coach Waleed
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Waleed: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2022. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Zagazig.
