Coach Vincent
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇬🇭 Tarkwa, Western, Ghana
- Tarkwa Athletic Club
- 1989 to 2023
- English, Twi
For 34 years I ran the cross country program at Tarkwa Athletic Club in Tarkwa. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Coach Vincent
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Vincent: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2002. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Coimbatore.
