Coach Vijay
Coached badminton for eleven years in Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Sports Club
- 1983 to 1994
- English, Hindi
I coached badminton at Mumbai Sports Club from 1983 to 1994. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Vijay: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
