Coach Veronika
Coached chess for nine years in Kazan
- 🇷🇺 Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia
- 2016 to 2025
- English, Ukrainian
I coached chess at Kazan Sports Club from 2016 to 2025. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
