I've coached hockey at Los Angeles Community Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Verónica: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
