Coach Venkatesh
Swimming and fitness coach, Saket
- 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
- 1984 to 2013
- English
For 29 years I ran the swimming program at Northside Sports Club in Saket. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Venkatesh
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Venkatesh: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2015. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Duisburg.
