Coach Vasileios
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
- Athens Sakura Youth Club
- Since 2001
- English, Greek
I've coached chess at Athens Sakura Youth Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Coach Vasileios
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Coach Vasileios: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
