Coach Vani
Basketball coach, New Delhi Phoenix Boxing Gym
- 🇮🇳 New Delhi, Delhi, India
- Since 1979
- English
I've coached basketball at New Delhi Phoenix Boxing Gym since 1979. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.

What gifts mean to Coach Vani: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1987. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Mendoza.
