Coach Vanessa
Swimming and fitness coach, Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- 1978 to 1991
- English, Filipino, French
For 13 years I ran the swimming program at Hillcrest Boxing Gym in Manila. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Coach Vanessa
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Vanessa: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
