Coach Vandana
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Baobab Football Club
- Since 1992
- English, Hindi
For 34 years I've run the rugby program at Baobab Football Club in Pune. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Vandana
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Coach Vandana: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
