Coached chess for 19 years in Guarulhos

- Maple Ridge Sports Club
- 1990 to 2009

For 19 years I ran the chess program at Maple Ridge Sports Club in Guarulhos. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
What gifts mean to Coach Valentina: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
