Coach Valentina
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇷🇴 Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania
- 1986 to 2012
- English, Romanian, French
I coached wrestling at Cluj-Napoca Athletic Club from 1986 to 2012. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Valentina: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
