For eight years I ran the rowing program at Chiang Mai Valley View Boxing Gym in Chiang Mai. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Uthai: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
