Coach Usman
Cycling coach, Bonny Athletic Club
- 🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria
- Bonny Athletic Club
- Since 1982
- English
I've coached cycling at Bonny Athletic Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Usman
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
