Coach Uchenna

Youth cross country coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
  • Kano Boxing Gym
  • 1986 to 2007
  • English, French
I coached cross country at Kano Boxing Gym from 1986 to 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
