Coach Uche

Youth chess coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Ikeja Silverlake Youth Club
  • Since 1983
  • English
I've coached chess at Ikeja Silverlake Youth Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

What gifts mean to Coach Uche: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
