Coach Tyler
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
- Mississauga Boxing Gym
- 1994 to 2005
- English
I coached swimming at Mississauga Boxing Gym from 1994 to 2005. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Tyler
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Tyler: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
